Job Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years overall restaurant experience
 - at least 3-5 years of multi-unit, multi-concept management experience
 - ability to work varied and rotating schedules
 - capacity to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
 - ability to understand menus and brand standards
 - experience in union and non-union restaurant environments
 - willingness to perform as an exempt employee under both administrative and executive exemption standards
 - demonstrated accountability for restaurant success and failure
 - ability to coach and motivate employees effectively
 
Job Qualifications
- Documented experience managing multi-unit restaurant operations
 - graduation from food service management or culinary program is preferred
 - strong team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills
 - ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
 - knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operational standards or ability to learn quickly
 - proficiency in company-used software tools such as MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos
 - effective communication skills
 - familiarity with health and safety regulations
 - demonstrated leadership and employee engagement capabilities
 
Job Duties
- Ensures all general managers and staff prepare restaurants for opening and closing
 - schedules and deploys managers to maintain leadership presence throughout operating hours
 - provides support, coaching, and encouragement to restaurant staff
 - holds general managers accountable for onboarding, offboarding, and compliance with training and badge requirements
 - monitors financial and operational reports to assign tasks and meet zone goals
 - communicates leadership vision and collaborates with senior directors on strategy
 - supports employee recognition initiatives and fosters employee engagement behaviors
 - manages product availability, inventory orders, and equipment maintenance
 - implements marketing programs and promotional activities as directed
 - ensures compliance with safety, health, and sanitation standards
 - resolves customer and associate issues using discretion
 - maintains brand standards, landlord agreements, and labor relations
 - oversees training and development of restaurant associates
 - participates in food waste minimization and donation programs
