Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years multi-unit management experience with total 8-10 years in restaurant operations for small zones or minimum 5 years multi-unit management for large zones
- Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for some experience
- Proven skills in team management, delegation, and issue resolution
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, policy documents, menus, and brand standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work varied and rotating schedules including opening, peak, and closing shifts

- Demonstrated experience managing multi-unit food service operations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience in financial and operational data analysis
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies and operational standards or ability to learn quickly
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adopt and teach new technologies
- Experience with scheduling and staff deployment
- Familiarity with brand standards and compliance requirements
Job Duties
- Ensures all general managers and staff prepare each restaurant for next day opening and execute closing requirements
- Responsible for scheduling managers to ensure leadership presence during all hours
- Provides consistent support, coaching, and encouragement to restaurant staff
- Ensures compliance with diversity and inclusion policies
- Conducts interviews and makes hiring, termination, and promotion decisions
- Holds general managers accountable for onboarding and offboarding of associates
- Monitors financial and operational data to meet zone goals
- Collaborates with senior leadership on strategy and issues
- Develops plans to motivate and recognize staff
- Makes purchasing decisions for repairs and supplies
- Ensures daily orders and inventory are appropriately managed
- Oversees receipt of goods, invoicing, and vendor communications
- Monitors and schedules maintenance of equipment
- Trains staff on brand standards, technology, and procedures
- Manages day-to-day activities and resolves customer and employee issues
- Implements marketing and promotional programs
- Maintains knowledge of health and safety regulations and ensures compliance
- Trains new managers and associates on wellness protocols
- Provides feedback on subordinate leaders and development goals
