Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years documented multi-unit management experience for small zones or 5 years for larger zones
- Total restaurant experience of 8-10 years preferred
- Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for some experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate leadership and delegation
- Capacity to understand and apply company policies and operational standards
- Proficient in speaking, reading and comprehending instructions, menus, and brand standards
- Flexible to work varied shifts including opening, peak and closing hours
- Must be an exempt employee under the Fair Labor Standards Act
Job Qualifications
- Multiple years of multi-unit restaurant management experience including quick service and full service concepts
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with demonstrated delegation and issue resolution skills
- Experience with financial analysis and operational data interpretation
- Knowledge of food service policies, product quality standards, and safety regulations or willingness to quickly learn
- Effective communication skills including the ability to read, comprehend, and convey written and verbal instructions
- Prior experience in employee hiring, training, and performance management
- Familiarity with restaurant management tools and software such as MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos
Job Duties
- Ensure all General Managers and staff complete opening and closing checklists and prepare restaurants for next-day operations
- Schedule managers to maintain leadership presence and oversee all restaurant operations during business hours
- Provide coaching, support, and encouragement to restaurant staff to achieve business goals
- Hold General Managers accountable for onboarding, training, and compliance with company policies including employee badging and terminations
- Analyze financial and operational reports to monitor progress toward zone goals and assign associates accordingly
- Collaborate with senior leadership on operational and financial issues and communicate company vision and goals to zone teams
- Manage restaurant stock levels, order processing, vendor relations, and maintain equipment
- Assess and coordinate training and education for restaurant associates to ensure brand standard proficiency
- Lead marketing program implementation and compliance with promotional activities to drive revenue growth
- Uphold all federal, state, and local health, safety, and sanitary standards and train staff on wellness and safety protocols
