Job Requirements

  • Experience managing multiple restaurants simultaneously
  • Food service or culinary education or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work varied, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Capable of enforcing compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and customers
  • Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English

Job Qualifications

  • Documented multi-unit restaurant management experience with at least three years in a similar role
  • Minimum of eight to ten years total restaurant industry experience
  • Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program preferred
  • Demonstrated team leadership, delegation, and issue resolution skills
  • Strong understanding of HMSHost operational policies and standards
  • Proficient communication skills including ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational reports
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a food service environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure all general managers and staff prepare restaurants for next day opening
  • Schedule managers to provide leadership presence during all operational hours
  • Provide coaching and support to restaurant staff to meet business goals
  • Uphold company diversity and inclusion philosophy within the zone
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of restaurant associates
  • Monitor financial and operational performance and assign resources accordingly
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic and operational issues
  • Ensure daily product orders and inventory control
  • Manage restaurant equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Promote waste minimization and participate in food donation programs
  • Conduct training and development to maintain brand standards
  • Manage customer and associate relations and resolve escalated issues
  • Implement marketing and promotional programs as directed
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
