Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in food service operations leadership
  • Experience managing multi-unit or portfolio operations preferred
  • Proven track record in food quality, safety, and compliance management
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel annually to multiple sites
  • Commitment to upholding brand standards and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of food service operations leadership experience
  • Multi-site or portfolio management experience preferred
  • Preferred 2 years of management experience within Bon Appetit
  • Strong culinary knowledge and passion for food quality and presentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under deadlines
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and food sanitation standards (OSHA, ADA, ServSafe)

Job Duties

  • Design, implement, and oversee SOPs across BOH, FOH, catering, and safety programs
  • Collaborate with portfolio National Team to develop, beta test, and implement new programming
  • Lead rollout strategies for new initiatives with adherence monitoring
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs and audits of FOH and BOH
  • Mentor and develop unit leads and General Managers to address challenges
  • Uphold compliance and streamline communication across locations
  • Travel to audit and train at all portfolio sites
  • Contribute to client and leadership reporting
  • Track and improve waste recovery and sustainability metrics
  • Monitor Food Standards Dashboard for consistency
  • Verify food recovery donations documentation
  • Develop and maintain operational reporting dashboard
  • Identify CAPEX improvements with National Team
  • Oversee purchasing projects and revenue growth opportunities
  • Implement safety and sanitation training protocols
  • Manage safety incident investigations and communications
  • Ensure weekly safety and hospitality training completion
  • Audit accuracy of reports and logs
  • Cascade Red Alerts and ensure timely actions
  • Track certifications and inspections compliance
  • Maintain labeling and packaging standards
  • Conduct PPE check-ins and advise on products
  • Verify permitting and inspection currency
  • Mentor leadership to build high-performing teams
  • Foster a train-the-trainer environment
  • Lead hospitality training programs
  • Drive training accountability via visits and feedback
  • Provide ongoing leadership coaching
  • Uphold culture of excellence, sustainability, and hospitality
