Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of restaurant industry experience
  • at least 3 years of multi-unit management experience
  • demonstrated leadership in managing teams and operations
  • ability to work varied and rotating shifts
  • strong communication skills
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • willingness to travel within assigned zone
  • ability to make strategic and operational decisions
  • ability to use technology and management software
  • willingness to comply with company policies
  • authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Documented experience managing restaurants such as QSR, casual dine, or full service
  • minimum of 3 to 5 years multi-unit management experience
  • 8 to 10 years overall restaurant experience
  • knowledge of HMSHost policies and operational standards
  • demonstrated team management and delegation skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively
  • graduation from food service management or culinary program may substitute for some experience
  • strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities
  • proficiency in operational management tools and software

Job Duties

  • Open and close restaurants to ensure next-day readiness
  • schedule managers and ensure leadership presence during all operating hours
  • provide coaching and support to restaurant staff
  • uphold diversity and inclusion policies
  • conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
  • hold General Managers accountable for onboarding and offboarding including compliance
  • analyze financial and operational reports to monitor zone goals
  • collaborate with senior operations leadership
  • support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
  • manage purchasing decisions and loss prevention concerns
  • ensure product availability and equipment functionality
  • train staff on company tools and software
  • monitor and maintain restaurant equipment
  • champion waste minimization and food donation programs
  • assess and coordinate training for skill development
  • promote technology adoption
  • maintain knowledge of brand standards and compliance
  • develop revenue-increasing strategies
  • manage daily activities and resolve customer and staff issues
  • provide feedback and develop subordinate leaders
  • ensure maintenance and repair needs are addressed
  • implement marketing programs per brand initiatives
  • maintain understanding and compliance with all health, safety, and sanitary regulations
  • enforce safety standards and protocols
  • train new hires on wellness checks and health guidelines
  • perform all health and safety activities as required
