Job Requirements
- Relevant years of restaurant management experience
- Proven multi-unit, multi-brand leadership background
- Ability to manage diverse teams across multiple locations
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Proficiency in company tools like MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos
- Excellent interpersonal and decision-making capabilities
- Willingness to work varied and rotating shifts including openings and closings
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years overall restaurant experience
- Minimum of 3 years multi-unit, multi-concept management experience for small zones
- Minimum of 5 years multi-unit, multi-concept management experience for large zones
- Demonstrated ability in team management, delegation, and issue resolution
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies, product quality, and operational standards
- Graduation from a food service management or culinary program preferred
- Strong communication skills including ability to read and understand policies and menus
- Ability to manage multiple and concurrent priorities effectively
Job Duties
- Ensure all GMs and staff prepare restaurants for next-day opening and closing checklists
- Schedule managers to guarantee leadership presence during all operating hours
- Provide coaching and support to restaurant staff to achieve business goals
- Enforce company diversity and inclusion philosophy within restaurants
- Interview and make hiring, termination, and promotion decisions for associates
- Hold GMs accountable for onboarding, offboarding, and training processes
- Monitor financial and operational reports to track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership on operational issues and strategy
- Implement employee recognition initiatives and champion engagement behaviors
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, equipment maintenance, and waste reduction
- Conduct training and develop employees on brand standards and new technologies
- Resolve customer and associate issues with judgment and discretion
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements
- Implement marketing programs and support promotional activities
