Job Requirements
- Must have six months of apartment or residential cleaning experience
- Able to communicate with Property Manager through written and oral instructions
- Must read, speak and understand English for business purposes
- Must be able to read and write instructions, short correspondence, memos, service requests
- Must converse professionally with residents, coworkers, and vendors
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screen
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk and hear
- Must be able to move heavy appliances with assistance
- Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance
- Must have specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- Six months of experience in apartments or residential cleaning
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Professional interaction with residents, coworkers, and vendors
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screening
Job Duties
- Assess the condition of apartments and areas to be cleaned each week and notify the Property Manager of necessary supplies
- Clean all fixtures, counters, cabinets, windows, ovens, bathrooms, blinds, floors, and appliances including under refrigerators and ovens in vacant apartment units
- Submit completion reports to the Property Manager after each apartment is cleaned
- Perform touch-up cleaning of vacant units as needed
- Clean models, offices, clubhouse, laundry rooms, and fitness centers daily
- Maintain cleanliness of office areas by emptying trash, vacuuming, cleaning windows and baseboards, and dusting desks, computer areas, and picture frames
- Keep clubhouse refrigerator, cabinets, and janitor closets clean
- Mop clubhouse floors as needed
- Keep all windows, doors, and vents clean
- Ensure coffee is made and stocked for daily office use
- Complete all job-related tasks assigned by the Property Manager
- Perform additional cleaning and maintenance duties in Corporate Suites, including changing dishes, linens, and soaps, if applicable
