Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or 2+ years amazon blue badge experience
- 3+ years progressively responsible experience in whs or environmental programs
- 3+ years in people and performance management or 2+ years amazon safety experience
- ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours
- flexibility to travel 50-70% and work various shifts
- obtain first aid, cpr, and aed certification within 3 weeks if not already certified
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or equivalent amazon experience
- 3+ years in workplace health and safety or environmental programs
- experience in people and performance management
- distribution center or manufacturing safety experience preferred
- master's degree preferred
- certified safety professional preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to develop and implement safety strategies
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- proficiency in microsoft office including pivot tables
- ability to manage multiple remote sites
Job Duties
- lead safety program implementation at site
- conduct risk assessments and analyze safety data
- develop and drive safety initiatives and continuous improvement
- perform site audits and monitor compliance
- manage first aid and emergency response programs
- collaborate with operations leadership to integrate safety
- track and report safety metrics
