Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field with 3 years marketing experience
- OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field with 1 year marketing experience
- Proven experience in marketing strategy development
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media management
- Ability to analyze marketing data and communicate performance effectively
- Leadership skills including team management and stakeholder collaboration
- Expertise in content management systems and email marketing platforms
- Knowledge of SEO principles and online marketing trends
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience managing partnerships and public relations activities
Job Duties
- Develop overarching marketing strategy aligned with business priorities
- Participate actively in sales strategy meetings to articulate marketing plans
- Reconcile marketing plan monthly with finance forecasts
- Lead repositioning efforts with hotel leadership
- Serve as brand guardian ensuring marketing reflects brand voice
- Lead property-level programming and activation based on brand guidelines
- Develop and manage digital marketing plans including email, paid media, and third-party site strategies
- Support group lead generation efforts
- Analyze and report campaign performance
- Manage internal and external partners to ensure marketing deliverables
- Oversee annual digital marketing and partnership strategies
- Collaborate on OTA strategy and market reviews
- Monitor and update SEO strategies with digital services or agencies
- Identify and cultivate partnerships including Marriott Digital Services
- Manage content on Marriott.com, OTA, and third-party sites
- Oversee photography and manage guest communications
- Set social media strategy and manage paid social media budget
- Lead asset development including collateral and photoshoots
- Manage PR strategy, agencies, and event execution
- Identify marketing opportunities for outlets and ancillary services
- Define and partner on in-house food and beverage programming
- Complete other duties as requested by leadership
