Job Duties

interacting with guests and staff members professionally and positively
assist the bar staff in filling ice wells as well as stocking wells with the necessary amount of liquor bottles
ensuring beer bottles wine and cordials are stocked
refilling and dating mixers juices and syrups
cut fruit and other garnishes and make sure the bar is set up for success
empty bus tubs and prebus the bar top
make batch cocktails according to proper recipes as well as understand the batch system to ensure proper changing of canisters
arriving for the shift on time and ready to work in proper uniform
use juicing machines in a safe sanitary manner while ensuring pars for the bar are met
following directions from management as well as the bartenders
all barbacks should have extensive knowledge of the menu and should be able to answer any guest's questions about food or drinks
obtain and update any required certifications
set up and break down the bar area before and after each shift while cleaning floors bar top and wells
emptying trash cans and washing dishes using the bar machine
