Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years manufacturing experience in material handling or warehousing
- Prior forklift experience and Gestamp forklift certification
- Experience using SAP for inventory management preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to operate barcode scanning devices
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work any shift including overtime and weekends
- Willingness to adhere to safety, attendance and conduct policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years manufacturing experience in material handling or warehousing
- Prior forklift and material handling experience with Gestamp certification
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management and material flow
- Ability to operate computer terminals and barcode scanners
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong math and reading skills
- Good safety, attendance, and performance record
- Strong work ethic and drive for excellence
Job Duties
- Adhere to all Gestamp employee policies including attendance, punctuality, and conduct
- Clock in and out for shifts and when leaving facility property
- Follow scheduled breaks and wear approved uniforms
- Prepare and supply materials within the MRO crib area
- Manage and lead item additions, changes, and obsoleting in SAP
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments with manifests and invoices
- Receive and process shipments into Gestamp systems
- Maintain inventory counts using SAP transactions
- Perform all reservation activities including running reports and issuing materials
- Collaborate with MRO Crib Buyer and purchasing teams on procurement and expediting
- Track and dispose of expired and non-moving materials
- Perform daily cycle counting and reconcile discrepancies
- Conduct root cause analysis of inventory inaccuracies
- Provide training as per departmental matrix
- Facilitate capital asset repair process
- Run weekly reports for stock out materials and follow up
- Serve internal customers at the MRO window using SAP
- Perform daily 5S organization and cleaning duties
- Operate forklift in a Gestamp-certified manner
- Work any shift, including overtime and weekends
- Support production and non-production areas including system accuracy
- Maintain excellent customer service and clean work area
- Perform special projects as assigned
