- M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited college of medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX certification
- completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- currently licensed as a physician

Job Duties
- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- responsible for medical management of patients under anesthesia during surgery and medical procedures
- perform pre-anesthesia assessments
- obtain and verify patient consent
- discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- monitor patient's physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed
