Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and Class-B commercial driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Flexible tour of duty

Job Qualifications
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and Class-B commercial driver’s license
- Experience in operating straight in line trucks and truck-trailer combinations
- Familiarity with material handling equipment including forklifts
- Ability to receive and screen inbound cargo with X-ray security equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle weight ratings and cargo safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and operating heavy machinery
- Compliance with office of personnel management qualification standards for trades and labor occupations
Job Duties
- Serves as delivery driver, materials handler, and materials security screener
- Routinely receive inbound cargo, screen for undesirable contents using highly efficient commercial grade X-ray equipment, and provide transportation of materials to host and tenant activities daily
- Operates straight in line trucks with airbrakes and truck-trailer combinations with a typical gross vehicle weight of 10,000 up to 32,000 pounds
- Assists with loading/unloading materials using material handling equipment such as electric, gasoline or diesel-powered forklifts rated for 4,000 to 10,000 pounds that can include special attachments
- Assures vehicle is not loaded beyond the rated capacity by checking cargo papers and by visual observation
- Operates receiving dock to receive and direct trucks to unloading bay
- Operate highly efficient, commercial grade security screening (x-ray) equipment to screen and observe all freight, material and mail entering the base
