Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years mortgage lending experience
- Previous management experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS license
- Strong understanding of real estate lending compliance and regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in mortgage loan origination software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- Proven mortgage loan origination experience
- Strong knowledge of conventional and government mortgage loan programs
- Familiarity with RESPA, NMLS, and relevant real estate lending regulations
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with pipeline and production management
- Ability to develop and maintain referral networks
- NMLS license or ability to obtain one
Job Duties
- Implement and manage tactical goals for loan officers
- Mentor, monitor, manage, and coach the Mortgage Team to build referral networks and meet sales goals
- Encourage growth and loan sourcing channels with each loan officer
- Provide daily guidance, education, motivation, and accountability to mortgage originations staff
- Develop, analyze, and complete weekly and monthly productivity and pipeline management reports
- Maintain working knowledge of underwriting, investor, and regulatory guidelines
- Originate loans in accordance with credit union products and services
