Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • minimum 1 year experience in banking or financial services required
  • experience with mortgage loan origination and processing systems required
  • ability to possess and maintain a NMLS number
  • adherence to CBI code of ethics and applicable regulations including Do Not Call, Privacy, HMDA, Suspicious Activity, Adverse Action, ECOA, FHA, fair lending policies
  • ability to deliver excellent client care
  • strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • ability to work independently
  • motivated self-starter

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ year banking or financial services experience
  • experience using mortgage loan origination, processing, and automated underwriting systems
  • preferred experience with Encompass and Velocify systems
  • ability to possess and maintain a NMLS number
  • advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • proven track record for providing exceptional internal and external customer service
  • motivated and organized with strong attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and exceed goals
  • adaptable, resilient, and aligned with company culture and core values

Job Duties

  • Act as a liaison between the branch network and the mortgage department
  • monitor a mortgage hotline and delegate uncovered lead opportunities to appropriate Mortgage Banker per customer preference
  • manage inbound application watch list and chat opportunities for delegation
  • manage and respond immediately to inbound contact forms and delegate to appropriate Mortgage Banker
  • communicate referred leads with referring party and branch leadership through final disposition
  • analyze applicants' financial status, creditworthiness, and property evaluation to determine eligibility and feasibility of home loans when required
  • provide timely communication updates to sales teams, branch networks, and other mortgage functional areas in accordance with service level agreements and compliance
  • adhere to established reporting for concierge team members such as Opportunity Funnel, Conversion, Engagement Rate Score
  • coordinate with Mortgage Bankers on pre-approvals to follow up, communicate, and action in lead management system
  • perform other duties as assigned
