Job Requirements

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

- Ability to learn and apply safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to properly use kitchen equipment such as knives and mixers
- Ability to work variable shifts
- Availability to work 20 hours per week

- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register

Job Duties
- Prepares hot and cold beverages according to standardized recipes
- Proper use of cooking and prep equipment
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
- Notifies supervisors of equipment malfunctions and food preparation problems
- Performs basic housekeeping duties and maintains an attractive area
- Completes cashiering duties including handling cash and card transactions
- Balances register and completes daily financial records
- Works independently to take and prepare special customer orders
- Interacts socially with customers to develop repeat clientele
- Addresses customer concerns and requests in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
