Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending lifting reaching and carrying
- Capability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders safely
- Availability to work nights weekends and early mornings
- Must satisfy federal state and local legal employment requirements
- Willingness to engage in interactive process for reasonable accommodations if needed
- Ability to work in a public retail store environment
Job Qualifications
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- Basic cash handling skills
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Willingness to learn omni-channel retail processes
- Physical ability to perform stocking and merchandise duties
- Basic understanding of safety and shrink prevention
Job Duties
- Help customers shop locate products and provide them with solutions
- Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- Execute cash handling to standards
- Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in the truck unload stocking and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including merchandise return go back process and general store recovery
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner and promote organization’s vision and values
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Other duties as assigned
