Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence
- license must be valid for at least three years
- must be at least 25 years old to drive 15 passenger vans
- acceptable driving record per agency and Chimes policies
- ability to stand or walk for long periods

- ability to lift, carry, and push up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs as needed

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- valid CPR/FR certification
- knowledge of green cleaning principles and CIMS certification requirements
- familiarity with electronic tracking systems such as MAXIMO, SAMS, TAMS, JAMS
- understanding of regulatory standards, hospital standards, and facility management
- knowledge of SDS, fire and safety, hazard communications, bloodborne pathogens regulations
- minimum three years of custodial supervision and administrative duties
- janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- demonstrated knowledge of building service management, equipment, and chemicals
- ability to supervise, train, and develop staff
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and problem-solve effectively
Job Duties
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
- manage and supervise custodian assignments for cleaning crews during assigned shifts
- evaluate and supervise assigned custodial staff
- maintain positive relationships with staff members
- assign, oversee, and inspect cleaning activities to meet contract requirements
- schedule janitorial services according to contract specifications
- manage staff performance evaluations
- ensure compliance with dress code and hygiene standards
- adjust custodial workforce to meet timelines
- train employees on cleaning procedures
- identify and correct sub-standard cleaning processes
- maintain daily cleaning discrepancy logs
- report maintenance issues affecting cleanliness
- collaborate with inspectors to resolve cleaning problems
- implement corrective actions based on inspection feedback
- train staff on new procedures
- review and ensure corrective action on inspection reports
- suggest solutions to operational challenges
- accept and manage service requests
- complete required reports timely
- manage and review employee paperwork and timesheets
- monitor attendance records
- report no call/no shows
- assist with payroll and badging renewals
- monitor vacation requests
- maintain personnel, supply, and equipment records
- review restroom inspection sheets
- oversee uniform requests
- monitor equipment logs and report equipment status
- conduct safety training and enforce safety policies
- attend management meetings
- sign for inspection reports
