Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house staff
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work in standing position for long periods up to 10 hours
  • Willingness to follow kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Ability to follow recipes and Ruby Slipper standards consistently
  • Strong communication skills with kitchen and front of house team
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand for long periods up to 10 hours
  • Demonstrated teamwork and reliability

Job Duties

  • Accurately prepare hot food products
  • Prepare and portion food prior to cooking
  • Plate and garnish cooked items according to Ruby Slipper standards
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
  • Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house staff
  • Assist with other food preparation tasks as assigned
