Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and write standard English
- ability to understand and complete simple instructions and correspondence
- basic math competency including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- capability to understand 24 hour and military time formats
- ability to perform safe vehicle parking maneuvers including parallel parking
- physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- availability to work Monday to Friday with morning availability
- willingness to travel up to 5 percent
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- knowledge of principles and processes for customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English
- ability to comprehend and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using money units
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a friendly and professional manner
- use guest last names during interactions
- use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- park and retrieve vehicles cautiously while driving slowly
- assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
- provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- shuttle guests to approved locations
- explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
- issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
