Job Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 40 pounds comfortably
- Ability to reach, lift, bend and carry heavy objects
- Ability to read food orders rung into the kitchen
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Use personal protective equipment as required
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or related kitchen role preferred
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Buddy's pizza production standards
- Basic math skills for inventory and portion control
Job Duties
- Learn and maintain standards in food production and quality
- Expedite orders in a timely manner
- Maintain professional relationships with fellow associates
- Help reduce loss and waste
- Actively participate in training efforts
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Attend staff meetings
- Check and date all deliveries received and report any variances
- Verify coolers are at proper temperatures and cleaned daily
- Process inventory requisition and receive supplies as necessary for quality production
- Prepare proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans
- Prepare items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product
- Maintain favorable work relationships with all company employees
- Provide a favorable image of Buddy's Pizza
- Demonstrate teamwork by assisting other employees with duties as needed
- Maintain highest level of cleanliness and preventative maintenance
- Display team-building skills and handle assignments with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
