Job Duties
- Follow recipes and procedures to cook food to order, which could include vegetables and meat
- ensure food is safe and of good quality, and meets company and guest preferences
- maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas
- prepare special meals or substitute items
- ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- maintain food logs
- monitor quality and quantity of food that is prepared
- communicate effectively with the chef, F&B service staff, and the rest of the team
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
- assist in the coordination of opening and closing of breakfast as well as line prep duties
- ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods time
- ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight
- additional tasks may be assigned at any given time
