Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to move, reach, grasp and lift boxes up to 50 lbs
- ability to kneel, bend, twist, stoop and smash
- ability to work in high temperatures
- punctual and reliable to work variable hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- able to follow Smashburger uniform standards
- able to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger and local, state, and federal regulations
- must produce authorized U.S. work documents
- must successfully complete Smashburger training program

Job Duties
- Be a menu expert, follow Smashburger's prep and menu recipe standards to prepare guest orders
- read, prepare and cook food orders to specifications to ensure guest satisfaction and minimize waste
- be a team player and communicate effectively with Guest Service Experts and managers
- ensure all food items are rung in prior to preparing orders while being flexible to verbal instructions
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, equipment and counters using approved cleaning products
- operate large cooking equipment such as grills and deep fryers and use knives and slicing equipment with proper PPE
- follow checklists and systems to set up, stock and close the kitchen
- learn new recipes and procedures for marketing promotions
- assist Guest Service Experts in dining room cleanliness and food delivery
- foster a safe work environment by following all personal and food safety and security standards
