Job Requirements

- Ability to perform duties split approximately 50 percent inside and 50 percent outside
Job Duties
- Check over restaurants from previous close to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Maintain the appearance of the building's exterior and grounds effectively including landscaping and snow removal
- Coordinate job duties around other opening team members to ensure efficient preparation for opening
- Take temperatures of required foods upon delivery accurately and provide documentation on the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist
- Put food orders away in cooler following protocols for proper stock rotation
- Rotate stock in cooler, freezer and dry storage area using the First In-First Out method monitoring shelf life and code dates
- Maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
- Complete scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly according to the equipment maintenance calendar
- Complete daily duties to be ready to work in the kitchen during the lunch shift if applicable
- Report possible areas of incomplete closing to opening manager
- Complete other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the manager on duty
