Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of professional baking experience preferably in bread, viennoiserie, or pastry production
  • Strong understanding of baking processes including proofing, fermentation, and lamination preferred but not required
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • A team-oriented mindset and willingness to take direction
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks

Job Duties

  • Prepare, proof, and bake a variety of baked goods and viennoiserie following established recipes and production guidelines
  • Execute baking schedules to ensure all products are ready for delivery on time without compromising quality
  • Monitor and maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all baked goods
  • Safely operate mixers, ovens, proofers, and other baking equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace adhering to hygiene and safety standards
  • Work closely with other bakers and kitchen staff to meet production goals efficiently
  • Identify and address any issues during the baking process to ensure quality and timeliness
