Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of baking or pastry experience preferred but not required
  • Understanding of proper pastry methods, techniques, and industry standards
  • Food Handlers Certificate required
  • Passion for baking and the food industry
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50-75 lbs occasionally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility in schedule
  • Comfortable with early morning shifts

Job Duties

  • Collaborate proactively with the Back of House Manager during shifts
  • Follow established recipes, procedures, and sanitation guidelines
  • Ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining high quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Monitor proper storage and shelf life for all products
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines
  • Use kitchen tools and equipment such as mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens safely and efficiently
  • Monitor baking processes to ensure quality control
  • Work with urgency to meet daily, weekly, and long-term goals
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Back of House Manager
