Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old

- Ability to stand and/or walk continuously during shifts
- Ability to perform bending, stooping, and kneeling tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
- Prior hospitality or server experience preferred but not required
- Must obtain TABC and Food Handlers Certification prior to starting work
- Texas Food Handler Certification provided by Moody Gardens if needed
- TABC Certification provided by Moody Gardens if needed
- Human Trafficking Certification provided by Moody Gardens
Job Duties
- Welcome and interact with all guests
- Greet guests, take their order, enter order into POS system and verify order by repeating back to guest
- Suggest additional items as appropriate
- Receive and process payments correctly via room charge or credit/debit
- Maintain knowledge of all current drink recipes and specials
- Maintain work area cleanliness by restocking and cleaning
- Replenish food and other serving items as necessary
- Abide by service speed requirements without compromising beverage quality or customer service, including third-party orders
- Prepare and serve coffee and coffee-less beverages and food items using retail equipment such as espresso machines and microwaves
- Maintain clean and organized work and customer areas following health and safety guidelines
- Promote new coffee offerings and seasonal specials to enhance brand awareness and sales
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks assigned by the leadership team
- Assist in inventory management and restock supplies as needed including product displays
- Follow hotel food and beverage policies and procedures diligently
