Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 mandatory
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 plus years of experience
- completion of company orientation, safety training, and eCommerce Online Ordering training upon hire

- bakery experience
- communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of computer systems and equipment such as PCs, symbols, scales, and label machines
- strong customer service skills
- reading and writing skills
- planning and organizing skills
Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service
- take cake orders from customers by telephone or in person with high accuracy
- answer customer questions regarding products and assist them with selections
- use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales
- apply proper decorating techniques for each item according to visual training aids
- write on cakes with icing on request
- read and execute daily production list through cake flow
- ensure quality control of all products before sending to sales floor per visual training aids
- ensure cake product reaches showcase and tables at prescribed times
- prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product effectively
- slice, package, label, and rotate products
- record production and shrink to aid in production planning
- maintain sanitation in work area
- comply with H-E-B food safety and sanitation standards
- comply with department and store operating procedures
- operate and maintain all equipment properly
