Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- previous bartending experience in a high-volume venue
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to move quickly
- ability to lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance
- ability to write, read, and verbally communicate effectively
- maintain professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
- work extended hours including irregular shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in noisy, crowded, and smoky environments
- ability to handle a fast-paced and stressful environment
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- effective team interaction skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous hospitality experience
- bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, dayclub, or lounge
- knowledge of food and beverage menus
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to comply with health and safety regulations
- ability to work under pressure in a busy environment

Job Duties
- Portray a positive and professional attitude
- anticipate and accommodate all guest needs
- solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from guests during food service
- possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and general information about the venues
- present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions for all beverage, food and amenity items
- ensure proper service, delivery and presentation of all food, beverage, and amenity items
- comply with Department of Health standards
- comply with all Tao Group Hospitality safety codes and standards
- comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
- comply with departmental appearance standards and uniform guidelines
- serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and responsible service/alcohol awareness training standards
- ensure maintenance, cleanliness, and orderliness of the bars and surrounding areas
- ensure all liquor displays, coolers, and shelving are organized and par levels maintained
- learn and perform proper use of all beverage soda systems
- accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment-card procedures
- accurately complete all end-of-shift financial procedures
- report all breakage and damage immediately to management
- inform management of any irregularities, incidents, guest complaints or disputes
- properly set up bar and bar stations and perform side-work, including cleaning and stocking
- attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings
- participate in training sessions and departmental meetings
- market the company’s venues and events including social media and promotional photography
- work as part of a team and provide support to team members
- assist and complete additional tasks as assigned
