Job Requirements
- Current and valid Class A CDL driver license
- Safe driving record
- Current DOT medical certification
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to be insured under RRFB insurance carrier plan
- Completion of Servsafe training
- Ability to think strategically and resolve problems
- Independent decision-making skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn new software and work within procedures
- Self-starter and team player with ability to work independently

- Previous experience in food banking, transportation, or operations is a plus
- Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and proper handling techniques preferred
Job Duties
- Delivers needed food to organizations, schools, and other partners within the southern nine county region and occasionally other parts of New Mexico
- Picks up food products from New Mexico-based sources and occasionally from Arizona and Texas
- Transports fresh produce and food products to Mobile Market sites and other delivery locations
- Cross-docks loads and unloads trailers at distribution sites
- Maintains DOT paperwork using an electronic logging device (ELD) and manages Mobile Market distribution paperwork
- Reads and understands schedules, orders, work orders, shipping orders, and Bills of Lading
- Ensures perishable goods are transported at proper refrigerated temperatures
- Maintains stock and inventory in compliance with Food Bank guidelines and regulations
- Observes all local, state, and federal transport and DOT regulations
- Completes required forms, reports, and logs
- Provides excellent customer service to partner agencies, donors, and the public
- Safely operates forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and truck liftgates
- Works independently and responsibly
- Observes safety and security procedures and reports unsafe conditions
- Consistently arrives to work on time and maintains positive attitude and team spirit
