Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Completion of training course for certification of beginning school food personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045
- Meet the requirements for a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky state law
- Meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy
- Provide a letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating clearance based on no findings of child abuse or neglect as a condition of employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Completion of training course for certification of beginning school food personnel
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols
- Experience in cooking and baking preferable
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of meals and baked goods suitable for young children
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and district policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Complete required training courses for certification of beginning school food personnel
- Conduct food preparation in accordance with nutritional guidelines and standards
- Work collaboratively with staff to support the nutritional program
- Adhere to background check and health requirements mandated by state law
