Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-2 plus years related experience
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs and wear steel toe shoes and other safety gear
  • Ability to pass an Explosive Handler Physical
  • Ability to obtain Arms and Ammunition Explosive Screening
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Meets DoD SkillBridge eligibility requirements
  • Must receive Unit Commander written authorization to participate in SkillBridge

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-2 plus years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office suite
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance
  • Prefer AA degree or two-year technical degree
  • Prefer 2 plus years related experience or technical school certificate

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of repairs and maintenance actions using approved procedures
  • Accurately document repair actions in paper and electronic formats
  • Test and accept assemblies according to approved test procedures
  • Maintain workstations and shop equipment
  • Use common electronic test equipment, test fixtures, and hand tools
  • Perform Quality Assurance Inspections and reviews
  • Conduct ordnance handling evolutions and torpedo verification testing
