Job Requirements

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel or restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • One to two years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food and Beverage
  • Expertise in advanced mixology techniques including infusion, fat-washing, clarification, and molecular methods
  • Strong knowledge of global cocktail trends
  • Understanding of premium spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and non-alcoholic alternatives
  • Ability to design and execute beverage pairings for food menus
  • Skilled in guest engagement and storytelling around cocktails and ingredients
  • Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Familiarity with bar technology and POS systems
  • Excellent communication and training skills for team development
  • Hawaii Food Handler’s Card
  • Maui Liquor Card
  • ServSafe within 3 months
  • Tuberculosis clearance

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize and control all aspects pertaining to beverage purchases, sales and consumption at the resort
  • Create innovative, seasonal beverage menus using advanced mixology techniques
  • Design and execute beverage pairings for food menus
  • Engage guests with storytelling and detailed knowledge of cocktails and ingredients
  • Manage inventory and cost control to maintain budget and profitability
  • Train and develop beverage team members to uphold high standards
  • Utilize bar technology and POS systems efficiently
