Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months experience bartending in a high volume front bar, service bar, or fine dining environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Extensive cocktail recipe knowledge
  • Extensive wine and craft beer knowledge
  • Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and certifications

Job Duties

  • Recognize and correctly make a variety of beverages adhering to recipes and measured pouring portions with appropriate garnish
  • Utilize proper glassware and execute proper wine service
  • Operate and clean various equipment including frozen beverage machine, dishwasher, ice machine, and pouring gun
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and daily specials
  • Comply with and enforce alcohol awareness laws and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar at all times
  • Complete side work, cleaning, and stocking duties efficiently and timely
  • Build and create craft cocktails to exact specifications and demonstrate showmanship
  • Use complex garnishes properly in drink presentations
  • Provide excellent communication and memorize scripted dialogue
  • Describe and upsell food and beverages to enhance guest experience
  • Provide cash settlement of bar checks following cash handling policies
  • Perform all other related duties as directed by supervisor or manager
