Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bartending or beverage service strongly preferred
- Knowledge of craft cocktails required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and register transactions
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Familiarity with point of sale systems is a plus
Job Duties
- Serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
- Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
- Act as cashier for the lounge
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including stocking beer, wine, spirits, and supplies
- Maintain stock, cutting, and storing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and perishables
- Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes with portion control
- Abide by state, federal and corporate alcohol service regulations
- Input orders at point of sale and create guest checks
- Handle cash transactions accurately and secure cash bank
- Lock up and store beverage and food equipment
- Clear and reset patio table settings
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of service stations
- Operate electronic cash register/POS system
- Check food appearance, temperature, and portions
- Comply with attendance and punctuality requirements
- Perform other assigned job duties as needed
