Job Requirements
- Meet minimum legal age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages
- maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor
- perform effectively in a lively and fast-paced environment with distractions
- be available to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
- read and understand handwritten and printed orders
- lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- stand or walk for entire scheduled shift
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bartending or mixology preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques
- ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- responsible alcohol service and safety awareness
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Consistently provide outstanding guest service by delivering expertly crafted drinks, delicious food, and engaging entertainment
- keep the immediate supervisor informed of any issues or significant occurrences and take prompt corrective action or suggest solutions
- deliver prompt and efficient beverage service while managing wait times and communicating necessary information to guests, team members, and managers
- greet guests warmly and manage various job responsibilities with enthusiasm
- assist guests with drink selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and with integrity
- verify guest identification to ensure legal alcohol consumption age
- monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly and intervene as necessary
- bid farewell to departing guests, ensuring satisfaction and inviting them to return
- inform the manager of any guest dissatisfaction or complaints
- adhere strictly to company policies regarding responsible alcohol service
- assist in regular stocking and maintenance of bar inventory
- clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and work surfaces
- collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service
- maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with all team members
