Job Requirements
- Previous work experience as a bartender is desirable
- Knowledge of mixology principles and drink preparation
- Certification or ability to obtain mandated alcohol service certifications
- Physical ability to lift, transport, push, or drag items up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards at all times
Job Qualifications
- Previous work history as a bartender is desirable
- Familiarity with the basic principles of mixology, drink formulas, and bartending developments
- Capable of obtaining all essential Aramark and state or local-mandated certifications for alcohol service
- Exhibits outstanding hospitality through exceptional friendliness and a thorough understanding of beverages
- Displays adeptness in coordinating tasks efficiently and maintaining accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a lively and high-energy work atmosphere
- Flexibility in availability to work different shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Address customers, record their preferences, and handle financial transactions using both cash and credit cards
- Blend and present a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
- Give out drinks to servers from the service well, when needed
- Abide by the alcohol service policies in place and ensure compliance with safe drinking recommendations, such as verifying patrons' IDs to confirm they are of legal drinking age
- Abide by the established rules and processes for handling money
- Arrange and disassemble work areas, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure products are adequately replenished
- Provide top-notch guest service by proactively catering to guests' requirements and ensuring their contentment
- Display a positive outlook when dealing with visitors, patrons, and coworkers
- Safeguard the integrity of corporate assets
