Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending experience preferred
- certification in alcohol service required or willing to obtain
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- commitment to adhering to safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous work history as a bartender is desirable
- familiarity with basic principles of mixology and drink formulas
- capable of obtaining all essential Aramark and state or local-mandated certifications for alcohol service
- outstanding hospitality skills with thorough knowledge of a wide range of beverages
- adeptness in coordinating tasks efficiently and maintaining accuracy
- able to work flexibly during evenings, weekends, and holidays
- thrives in a lively and high-energy work atmosphere
- physical ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 lbs
Job Duties
- Address customers
- record their preferences
- handle financial transactions using cash and credit cards
- blend and present a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- give out drinks to servers from the service well when needed
- ensure compliance with alcohol service policies including verifying patrons' IDs
- abide by established money handling rules and processes
- arrange and disassemble work areas maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- conduct inventory checks and replenish products
- provide top-notch guest service
- display a positive outlook with visitors, patrons, and coworkers
- safeguard corporate assets
