Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- Responsible alcohol service knowledge
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding guest service by delivering expertly crafted drinks and engaging entertainment
- Keep supervisor informed of issues and take corrective action
- Deliver prompt and efficient beverage service and manage wait times
- Greet guests warmly and manage various responsibilities
- Assist guests with drink selections and provide recommendations
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Verify guest identification for alcohol service
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly
- Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction
- Report dissatisfied guests to manager
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist in stocking and maintaining bar inventory
- Clean and sanitize glassware and work surfaces
- Collaborate with team members for seamless service
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
- Meet legal age requirements for alcohol service
