Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain Responsible Vendor Permit or certification within 45 days of hire
  • previous experience as a bartender

  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • basic math skills
  • legal age to serve alcohol

  • familiarity with state and federal alcohol service regulations

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis
  • requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments and produce based on daily function projections
  • maintain stock, cutting, and storage of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily
  • greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
  • mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
  • abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • input orders into the register at point of sale and create guest checks
  • receive cash payments, make change, verify charges and properly execute vouchers
  • lock up and store all beverage, food and equipment items
  • deposit cash drops and secure bank
  • comply with attendance rules and be regularly available for work
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
