Job Requirements
- Meet minimum legal age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages
- Be able to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Perform effectively in a lively and fast-paced environment
- Read and understand handwritten and printed orders and instructions
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Move around the facility and stand for extended periods
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, and clean surfaces
- Walk or stand for the entire duration of the scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a mixologist or bartender preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to follow company policies and legal regulations
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Consistently provide outstanding guest service by delivering expertly crafted drinks, delicious food, and engaging entertainment
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of issues or unusual occurrences and suggest solutions
- Deliver prompt and efficient beverage service while managing wait times and communicating with guests and team members
- Greet guests warmly and manage various job responsibilities with enthusiasm
- Assist guests with drink selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages accurately according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal age requirements
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly and intervene when necessary
- Bid farewell to departing guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting them to return
- Inform manager of dissatisfied guests or complaints
- Adhere to company policies on responsible alcohol service
- Assist with regular stocking and maintenance of bar inventory
- Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and work surfaces regularly
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Must meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol
