- High school diploma preferred or equivalent
- excellent customer service skills

- excellent verbal communication skills
- knowledgeable about the company’s menu and customer-related policies
- previous experience in restaurant or bar service environments

- previous experience as a restaurant mixologist, bartender, bar-back, server, waiter/waitress, runner, front of house, or other FOH restaurant job will be helpful to being successful at this job
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a genuine smile, build rapport, and ensure an enjoyable, quality bar experience
- look for visual and verbal cues to identify the experience the guest wants and customize the service to meet those expectations
- promptly and accurately take food and beverage requests from guests
- ensure expedient service of food and beverages to the guest
- learn menu and beverages and recommend and upsell items
- accurately ring all orders into the POS system while simultaneously interacting with guests when applicable
- prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar guests (cocktails, beer, wine, etc.)
- assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- comply with all food and beverage regulations
