Job Requirements
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor and smile often
- Be available to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
- Perform effectively in a lively and fast-paced environment
- Read and understand handwritten and printed orders and instructions
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods
- Walk or stand for the entire duration of the scheduled shift
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or mixology preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and drink recipes
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Consistently provide outstanding guest service by delivering expertly crafted drinks, delicious food, and engaging entertainment
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of any issues or unusual occurrences and suggest alternative solutions
- Deliver prompt and efficient beverage service while managing wait times and communicating with guests and managers
- Greet guests warmly and manage various job responsibilities with enthusiasm
- Assist guests with drink selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages accurately and efficiently according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal age for alcohol consumption
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly and intervene when necessary
- Farewell departing guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting return
- Inform managers of any guest dissatisfaction or complaints
- Adhere to all company policies regarding responsible alcohol service
- Assist in stocking and maintaining bar inventory
- Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and work surfaces regularly
- Collaborate effectively with team members for seamless service
- Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with team members
- Meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol
