Job Requirements
- Meet minimum legal age requirement for alcohol service
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Be available to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
- Perform effectively in a lively and fast-paced environment
- Read and understand handwritten and printed orders
- Lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- Move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods
- Walk or stand for entire shift
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, and wipe surfaces
- Comply with company policies and legal regulations for alcohol service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beverage recipes and preparation techniques
- Responsible alcohol service knowledge
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Capacity to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Team player with cooperative attitude
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Job Duties
- Consistently provide outstanding guest service by delivering expertly crafted drinks, delicious food, and engaging entertainment
- Keep supervisors informed of issues or unusual occurrences and take corrective action
- Deliver prompt and efficient beverage service while managing wait times and communicating effectively
- Greet guests warmly and manage various job responsibilities
- Assist guests with drink selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy
- Verify guest identification for legal alcohol consumption age
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly and intervene when necessary
- Bid farewell to departing guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting return visits
- Inform managers of dissatisfied guests or complaints
- Adhere to company policies on responsible alcohol service
- Assist in stocking and maintaining bar inventory
- Clean and sanitize glassware, tools, and work surfaces regularly
- Collaborate with team members for seamless service
- Maintain positive working relationships
- Meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol
