Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum legal age for serving alcohol
- Ability to maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Availability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
- Capability to perform in a lively and fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and understand handwritten and printed orders
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces regularly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in bartending or mixology preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions
- Familiarity with responsible alcohol service laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding guest service by preparing and serving expertly crafted drinks
- Keep supervisors informed of issues or significant occurrences and take corrective action
- Manage prompt beverage service, effectively communicate with guests and team members
- Greet guests warmly and manage multiple job responsibilities
- Assist guests with drink selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Verify guest identification and ensure legal alcohol consumption
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene if necessary
- Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction
- Report dissatisfied guests or complaints to managers
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist with bar inventory stocking and maintenance
- Clean and sanitize glassware and work surfaces regularly
- Collaborate with team members for seamless service
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
