Job Requirements
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages in the relevant jurisdiction
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor and smile often
- Be available to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and/or weekends as needed
- Perform effectively in a lively and fast-paced environment with potential distractions
- Read and understand both handwritten and printed orders and instructions
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds such as beverage cases or trays of drinks
- Move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods of time
- Walk or stand for the entire duration of the scheduled shift
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or mixology preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards related to food and beverage service
- Ability to verify legal age for alcohol consumption
Job Duties
- Consistently provide outstanding guest service by delivering a winning combination of expertly crafted drinks, delicious food, and engaging entertainment in an environment focused on maximum fun
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of any issues or significant unusual occurrences, and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternative solutions
- Deliver prompt and efficient beverage service while effectively managing wait times and clearly communicating necessary information to guests, fellow team members, and managers
- Greet guests with a warm and enthusiastic attitude while managing various job responsibilities
- Offer a smile and acknowledge guests upon their arrival
- Assist guests with their drink selections, answer their questions knowledgeably, and provide helpful recommendations
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all supplies are readily available for service
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Verify the identification of guests to ensure they meet the minimum legal age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly and intervene appropriately when necessary in accordance with company policies and legal regulations
- Bid farewell to departing guests, ensuring their satisfaction and inviting them to return for more fun
- Inform the manager of any guest who appears dissatisfied or expresses a complaint
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service
- Assist in the regular stocking and maintenance of bar inventory
- Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and all work surfaces on a regular basis
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure seamless and efficient service throughout the entire venue
- Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with all company team members to cultivate a harmonious and productive work environment
