Job Requirements
- Ability to read and follow instructions, recipes, and procedures accurately
- visual acuity to monitor equipment, detect quality issues, and ensure proper operation of production lines
- ability to lift and move up to 65 lbs. for a distance of at least 5 feet
- capable of standing for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time) and performing repetitive motions
- manual dexterity for handling small components and equipment adjustments
- strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and adherence to quality standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education
- minimum of 1 year experience in mixing, blending, or compounding in a manufacturing or food production environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and mix syrup batches following precise mixing instructions and standard operating procedures
- weigh and set up ingredients for production batches
- maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation as required by company and regulatory standards
- load and scan ingredients into mixing tanks using established protocols
- inspect incoming ingredients for proper seals, fill levels, and packaging integrity
- operate mixing equipment and execute cleaning cycles through computerized control systems
- perform periodic ingredients and concentrate cycle counts
- rework product batches as necessary to meet quality standards
- wash, clean, and sanitize all equipment between flavor changes to avoid cross-contamination
- safely operate, inspect, and maintain a forklift
- comply with all food safety and security policies, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and all safety procedures
- unload HFCS, phosphoric acid, and caramel from rail cars following safety protocols
- oversee ingredient inventory processes, including transporting products between areas
- perform other related duties as assigned by management
