Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow instructions, recipes, and procedures accurately
  • visual acuity to monitor equipment, detect quality issues, and ensure proper operation of production lines
  • ability to lift and move up to 65 lbs. for a distance of at least 5 feet
  • capable of standing for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time) and performing repetitive motions
  • manual dexterity for handling small components and equipment adjustments
  • strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and adherence to quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education
  • minimum of 1 year experience in mixing, blending, or compounding in a manufacturing or food production environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and mix syrup batches following precise mixing instructions and standard operating procedures
  • weigh and set up ingredients for production batches
  • maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation as required by company and regulatory standards
  • load and scan ingredients into mixing tanks using established protocols
  • inspect incoming ingredients for proper seals, fill levels, and packaging integrity
  • operate mixing equipment and execute cleaning cycles through computerized control systems
  • perform periodic ingredients and concentrate cycle counts
  • rework product batches as necessary to meet quality standards
  • wash, clean, and sanitize all equipment between flavor changes to avoid cross-contamination
  • safely operate, inspect, and maintain a forklift
  • comply with all food safety and security policies, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and all safety procedures
  • unload HFCS, phosphoric acid, and caramel from rail cars following safety protocols
  • oversee ingredient inventory processes, including transporting products between areas
  • perform other related duties as assigned by management
