Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a current Commercial Driver's License (minimum Class B)
  • Hold a valid State of Texas commercial driver’s license with a violation-free Department of Motor Vehicle record
  • Ability to report to work on time and regularly
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to lift 45-70 pounds several times a day
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs up to 10 feet
  • Ability to obtain a valid medical examiner’s card
  • Ability to maintain manual dexterity, physical mobility, vision, speech, and hearing as required

Job Qualifications

  • One to three years of related experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a current Commercial Driver's License (minimum Class B)
  • Valid State of Texas commercial driver’s license with a clean Department of Motor Vehicle record
  • Ability to operate Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
  • Strong communication skills to express oneself clearly and concisely
  • Ability to understand complex functions, procedures, and processes
  • Demonstrated responsibility for quality and accuracy in personal work

Job Duties

  • Display a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with customers both internally and externally
  • Perform pre-trip inspections including cleaning windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras before leaving the plant or job site
  • Check for fluid leaks and consult the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook
  • Confirm job site address prior to departure
  • Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior
  • Manage the loading, handling, delivery, and unloading of concrete with attention to slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, and admixtures
  • Perform post-trip inspection and report maintenance needs to the plant manager
  • Operate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) in compliance with regulations
  • Foster a supportive role toward Lauren Concrete’s mission statement and core values
  • Support a positive and productive work environment and demonstrate a positive example for others
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
