Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Moderate to high degree of physical activity
- Ability to stand continuously and walk frequently
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders frequently
- Ability to work in wet and high-temperature environments
- Ability to work in high noise areas
- Ability to handle potentially hazardous equipment
- Frequent lifting up to 55 pounds
- Willingness to work any shift including overtime
- Ability to obtain forklift certification immediately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience operating processing equipment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
- Ability to follow detailed procedures
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate computerized control systems
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Requisition materials
- Operate all processing equipment
- Portion and scale ingredients
- Verify process control points and product quality
- Manage work in process and tank coordination
- Clean all equipment using COP and CIP systems
- Kosherize equipment per Kosherization Procedures
- Perform basic troubleshooting of processing equipment
- Train new associates
- Maintain work area in safe and orderly fashion according to GMP, 6S, and Safety guidelines
- Assist Quality Assurance in obtaining product samples
- Operate Rich's SCADA, MLO, and Bowls Wonderware systems
- Complete appropriate paperwork
- Perform dry blending and reprocessing as assigned
